Walking with Jesus: A New Creation

Jesus makes all things new. He is the Life that restores, refreshes, and reconciles all things to Himself. New creations are those who were estranged from God and have been reconciled to Him through Christ’s finished work of redemption for all of humankind. In His death, He gave us life; new creations in Him. In His resurrection, He extends His Power and Authority to all who believer in Him, and we have confident hope in His imminent return for His Church (His Bride). God made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. The Old nature which was sinful was enmity with God. God working through His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, re-established a better and eternal relationship with us. We are reconciled to God through Christ. This is the new life! God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Christ, who reconciled us to God the Father, has given us a new life. Once a man is in Christ, he is now a new creation. Old things have passed away, behold all things have been made new. New creatures are ministers of reconciliation. Therefore, abandon the old nature and embrace the new life that is in Christ. With Christ, you will have abundance; without Christ, you will be abandoned! Go forth and share the word of reconciliation which you have received. Share the Word of hope with those who are estranged from God. Compel them: “Be a new creature in Christ; be reconciled to God!” This is our spiritual obligation as we walk with Jesus all the way!!

Prayer:

Gracious Father,
Your love for me is inconceivable. While I was yet a sinner, you died for me. You gave your Only Begotten Son, Jesus to die for me, in this, I am reconciled to you. Now that I am now a new creature in Christ, inspire me by your Spirit to go forth with the message of reconciliation to those who are estranged from you. May they be one with You. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
