Bunny's Bread Basket

The Fountain of Life Community Church Outreach Ministry is named in memory of Roberta Landis, who we lovingly call “Bunny.” She was a dear friend, prayer partner, and Philanthropist,
who helped many military families as her way of thanking them for their sacrificial service to God and a grateful nation.

Bunny’s Breadbasket was deemed the suitable name for our outreach ministry because, at the Fountain, we are reaching out to restore all people. This was Bunny’s mission! Bunny’s Breadbasket continues to feed, clothes, visit, and provide shelter for those who are challenged by the issues of life. We partner with other helping agencies in the community of New Braunfels to ensure the quality of life for the people. The following scripture that is recorded in the Gospel of Matthew 25:35-36, speaks well of the mission of Bunny’s Breadbasket: “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.” Bunny’s rich legacy will continue to live on at the Fountain. She was a woman of grace, generosity and compassion. Her memory will always remain a blessing and shining light in our hearts.
