Scripture:

“Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering; for He who promised is faithful” (Heb. 10:23; NKJV).

Reflections:

- This is the season of Advent. Advent means, the coming of…, or the coming to…! It is a season of hope. A time of anticipations and expectations. This is a time that we will see God honor His promises to us.
- If we are hoping (Anticipating, expecting) for a thing, we cannot look back, but we must look ahead.
- Hope never looks back, it always looks ahead.
- Expectation is our determination to see God bring to pass what He promised.
- Our faith is what fuels our expectation.

At Advent, our ultimate hope must be in Jesus and His promise to us of everlasting life!

Take Action:

1. Connect your faith to your expectation and believe God to manifest the promise.
2. Commit your ways to the Lord and you will be established.
3. Center yourself in Christ Jesus, especially in times and seasons of impossibilities.
POINTS OF REFLECTION:
1. There must be a CONSTANCY in our confession of hope.
2. There must be a COMMITMENT in our confession of hope.
3. There must be a COMMUNICATION in our hearts concerning our confession of hope.
4. There must be a CELEBRATION in our hearts because of our confession of hope.

Embrace hope -- expect God to fulfill His promises to us! God is faithful and He will keep His promises to us! Jesus Christ is our eternal hope!

Prayer:

Lord, inspire the spirit of confidence in me, so that I may hold fast to the confession of hope. Keep me steadfast in faith, so that I will never waver in the face of adversity but speak in confidence and affirm your faithful promises in my life. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Our eternal hope
