God Will Perfect That Which Concerns You

Scripture:

“The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands” (Psa. 138:8; NKJV).

Reflections:

The point is clear, that God begins to work out His purposes in you and continues this work until it is absolutely and completely accomplished in you for His glory. The Apostle Paul affirms this point: “Being confident in this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil. 1:6; NKJV).

All that you are and all that you hope to become is concealed in you. God created you to fulfill your call according to His purpose. There is a seed of greatness planted in you, just like a seed in good soil. That very seed is being nurtured in you which consequently will birth out of you a great harvest. God continues to work in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure to the extent of bringing out of you the richness of His purpose in you, which potentially will lead to fruitfulness and the fulfillment of all that God has purposed you to become for His glory. Each new day and in each moment, brings with these new encounters and new discoveries. Recognizing, maneuvering, and maintaining each of these moments is the task.

Give all of these seasons of your discoveries to God and He will direct your path and enable you to present your best self for His glory. Remember, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God took time out to make you special and to deliver a masterpiece. Remember, God does not make duplicates, but He make originals. You are unique and specially designed to fulfill your calling according to God’s purpose for your life. Declare this day that you are an original masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus by Almighty God for good works.
Do not underestimate who you are. The Lord will perfect those things that are of concern to you because He wants to bring out the best in you. So, I speak to the greatness in you and your potential to become all that the Lord created you to become today; I ask the Lord to command out of you the best you that He has created for His good pleasure. So, rise up in confidence and allow the Lord to complete in you that which he has begun, in Jesus name!

Points of Contemplation:

1. What is your greatest fear?
2. How do you understand God’s call in your life?
3. Can you submit to God so that He can bring out of you your best self?
4. What is hindering you from submitting to God?

Prayer:

Almighty God, You are the Author and the Finisher of my faith. I offer thanksgiving and praise to You for Your marvelous works toward the children of men. Forgive me for neglecting to grow in Your purpose and for the times that I have underestimated who I am in You. Bring out of me the confidence to rise up and take my place as that masterpiece that you so carefully crafted for Your good pleasure. Direct my pathway as I continue to discover and release the best that I am in You. To this end, may I always trust in You as I walk in the way of everlasting. “Now may the God of all grace who called me to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after I have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle me. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever” Amen.
