Confess Him!

Confess Him!

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” Romans 10:9-10; NKJV.

Make an open, bold, and courageous proclamation of your faith in Jesus as you walk with Him all the way. Nothing is more meaningful in this matter than to say with the deepest conviction that, Jesus is Lord and that He is Lord of all! These true and heartfelt convictions arise from the experiences we derive from our relationship with Him. We can only make these courageous proclamations of faith because we believe, and we are in a growing relationship with Jesus. We confess Jesus to others along the way because He means the most to us. He is the lover of our soul. Let us reflect on who He is and all that He has done for us—He is our Salvation, Deliverer, Healer, Provider, Protector, Hope, Peace, Joy…He is our All and in All. Go and tell it to all people. In the marketplace, confess Him! To the bystander, confess Him! Everywhere you go, confess Him. Confession comes from our own conscience and convictions because we experienced Him in one way or another. What is the conviction of your heart? Have you encountered Jesus and with conviction you are confident to confess Him as Lord to others? Are you willing to make an open, bold, and courageous proclamation to others that He is Lord of all? Jesus says, “Whoever confesses Me before men, him I will confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” When you speak convincingly of Jesus to others, He will in turn speak to the Almighty Father about you. Confessing Jesus is the heart’s deepest expressions of who Jesus really is to you. Believe what you tell others about Him and let your actions reflect your confession. It must be free flowing. Confession must flow from the soul. It is the heart’s truest conviction. Confess Jesus!

Prayer:

Lord, I confess You as the Son of the Almighty God. No one is greater than You. Bring me to the place of a true and heartfelt conviction, so that I can confess you freely to all people. Grant me grace so that my profession matches my practice. Help me to daily confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
